Muscle Car Restorations

A muscle car can be defined as a rear-wheel-drive sedan with a V8 (or larger) engine that is optimised for straight-line speed over performance. Most muscle cars also have two doors and are larger than more compact ‘pony cars’. Modern muscle cars include the Ford Mustang GT and Dodge Challenger STR Demon. Sports cars tend to be smaller than muscle cars and focus on balancing acceleration with handling – think the Corvette Stingray or Toyota GR Supra.

No, we don’t. Each stage of a restoration is highly specialised, and we’ll never compromise on the quality of our work by offering services we don’t excel at. If you need a ground-up restoration of your muscle car, we can refer you to other service providers for aspects like engine restorations and panel-beating; we can also help you plan and sequence the different stages.  

Our workshop is located at 23 Chetwynd Street, Loganholme QLD 4129. Most of our customers come to us from Logan, South Brisbane, or the Gold Coast, but we welcome muscle cars from anywhere.

A standard detail involves cleaning your vehicle, conditioning interior surfaces and correcting exterior ones, and applying protective treatments. It’s part of your car’s regular maintenance, preserving both its appearance and market value.

A restorative detail refers to making an older car ‘as new’ – that is, returning it to the same condition as it was when it left the factory floor (or better). We only restore the interior and exterior surfaces of muscle cars, which means we don’t undertake mechanical or structural repairs. (We can refer you to specialists in both areas.)

It’s a longer, more intensive process than a standard detail that can take, in some cases, upwards of 100 hours per vehicle. The products we use for a restorative detail are also selected specifically for your vehicle’s materials and paint surfaces.

We know how much time, effort and care go into acquiring and maintaining a classic car, and damaging one is the last thing we’d ever want. Here’s how we keep all our customers’ vehicles as safe as possible.

1. We focus on quality over quantity, always. A culture of ‘more, faster’ is exactly how accidents happen. Every one of our team members knows that delivering precise, thorough and careful detailing is our absolute priority.
2. We video and photograph the interior, exterior, and engine bay of every classic car as soon as it arrives at our workshop. It’s a great way to check the results of our work, and helps ensure that both you and our team are aware of any pre-existing damage.
3. We only use high-quality, commercial-grade products that we’ve screened for adverse chemical interactions. These include products from brands like Aero.
