1.
Discovery
Each car paint restoration begins with an in-workshop discovery session.
We’ll inspect your vehicle’s current condition and discuss the level of restorative detailing you want.
Once we understand your requirements, we’ll provide a fixed-price, itemised quote for your review and approval.
2.
Detailing
Once you’re ready to move forward, schedule a time to drop your vehicle off at our Logan workshop.
We’ll photograph and video all surfaces (including the engine bay) while you’re on-site for insurance purposes.
If we do discover any underlying damage during your car paint restoration (such as rust or mould), we’ll always contact you before making any corrections.
Minor damage can generally be corrected in-house, but, for more complex repairs, we’ll refer you to a specialist we trust.
We’ll never outsource repairs we’ve promised to do ourselves or drive your vehicle anywhere without your explicit approval.
3.
Inspection
Once your car paint restoration has been completed, we’ll contact you so you can conduct a pre-handover inspection and drive your vehicle home.
We’re relentlessly focused on quality.
Each one of our restorative detailers has at least 5 years of full-time detailing experience.
Swirls, oxidisation, UV damage – each one slowly degrades your car’s paintwork.
For a standard late-model vehicle, environmental damage is unpleasant.
If you own a classic or luxury car, though, it can wipe tens of thousands off your resale value – and compromise the beauty of an otherwise perfect machine.
Our car paint restoration service can help correct defects that haven’t penetrated the clear coat.
That means carefully abrading the top clear coat layers to create an even, glass-like surface, a process that can easily take over 50 hours for high-end vehicles, before applying a protective coating to reduce future damage.

Taking your car to a detailing workshop in Logan or Brisbane can be a stressful experience.
A rushed, sloppy, or overly aggressive detail can cause swirls and paint damage, especially on classic or vintage vehicles with delicate single-stage paint.
It’s why our restorative paint details are only conducted by highly experienced practitioners – and why we only use commercial-grade products like Aero that we’ve selected after comprehensive testing.
Your vehicle’s paintwork needs more than the same quick clean-and-cut that the Commodore down the street gets.

Restorative detailing isn’t just for your car’s paintwork.
The same processes can be used for everything from glass to plastic and carbon fibre composite.
Non-painted parts are easy to replace on late-model vehicles, but, for classic and vintage cars, restoring the original component can be a better way to preserve value.
More fragile surfaces do come with less margin for error, though.
The wrong buffing pressure, for example, can permanently haze a windscreen – or compromise its structural integrity.

Yes, paint correction can eliminate scratches and swirl marks that haven’t penetrated the clear coat. (For context, the average modern clear coat is 1.5–2 millimetres thick. Vehicles made before the 1980s don’t have OEM clear coats.)
The first stage of a 3-stage correction often includes wet-sanding or heavy cutting, which takes off the top layer of the clear coat and mostly removes non-penetrative defects in the process. The second stage normally incorporates a lighter buffing compound to even out the results of the first. Because that process can leave mild hazing, it’s generally followed by a polish to achieve that rich, flawless paintwork your vehicle deserves.
Wet-sanding is the process of sanding a wet body surface with automotive sandpaper, which ranges from 1500 to 3000 grit. Adding a very thin liquid barrier helps carry away the tiny particles that get created during sanding. That helps make sure they don’t scratch the clear coat, delivering a cleaner, more even result.
Generally, distilled water is the best wetting option – it’s free from chemical contaminants and doesn’t contain lubricants that will impede the sandpaper’s efficacy.
Our workshop is located at 23 Chetwynd Street, Loganholme QLD 4129. Most of our customers come to us from Logan, South Brisbane, or the Gold Coast, but we welcome luxury vehicles and classic cars from anywhere.
A standard detail involves cleaning your vehicle, conditioning interior surfaces and correcting exterior ones, and applying protective treatments. It’s part of your car’s regular maintenance, preserving both its appearance and market value.
A restorative detail refers to making an older car ‘as new’ – that is, returning it to the same condition as it was when it left the factory floor (or better). We only restore the interior and exterior surfaces of muscle cars, which means we don’t undertake mechanical or structural repairs. (We can refer you to specialists in both areas.)
It’s a longer, more intensive process than a standard detail that can take, in some cases, upwards of 100 hours per vehicle. The products we use for a restorative detail are also selected specifically for your vehicle’s materials and paint surfaces.
We know how much time, effort and care go into acquiring and maintaining a classic car, and damaging one is the last thing we’d ever want. Here’s how we keep all our customers’ vehicles as safe as possible.
